Javier Hinojosa
Javier Hinojosa is the Senior Vice President, Power at BKV Corporation. In this role, he leads BKV’s power platform, overseeing the performance, strategy and development of its 1.5 GW generation fleet. His responsibilities include operational execution, capital allocation, financing and long-term planning, as well as the development of new-build and inorganic growth opportunities.
Before assuming this role, Javier led the launch of BKV Energy, the company’s retail electricity business in Texas, overseeing all aspects of the business from finance and brand development to customer service and go-to-market strategy. He also held enterprise-wide strategic leadership roles at BKV and Kalnin Ventures, where he led M&A integrations, technology initiatives, strategic planning and capability building across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Javier spent more than five years in PwC’s Advisory practice, supporting clients through M&A, divestitures, operating model design and performance improvement initiatives. He began his career in operations and logistics leadership roles, building experience across manufacturing, supply chain and business transformation.
Javier holds a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in private equity finance and consulting, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Outside of work, Javier enjoys spending time outdoors, whether sailing in the Caribbean or exploring the backcountry in the winter. He also enjoys reading and finding new ways to automate his home.
