Virginia Doty Named Executive Vice President/Director, Client Services of BKV

Virginia DotyATLANTA, Ga. (June 4, 2007) — Virginia Doty, who has served in a series of positions of increasing responsibility with Bennett Kuhn Varner (BKV) the past 19 years, has been named executive vice president/director of client services. The appointment is effective immediately, according to Maribett Varner, president of BKV.

Doty, who most recently served as senior vice president/account group head at BKV, has worked on a number of key accounts at the agency such as Black & Decker Household Products, EarthLink, Salvation Army, Consumer Source Inc. and Hunter Fan. Prior to joining BKV, she held prominent positions at Earle Palmer Brown and Ogilvy & Mather in both London and Atlanta.

"With considerable expertise in strategic planning and creative development, Virginia has provided incredible leadership to our team," Varner said. "This promotion is a direct result of the value she brings to our organization and to our clients."

Doty's promotion comes on the heels of a new merger between Weyforth-Haas Marketing of Overland Park, Kan. and BKV. The new company has more than 200 employees and is composed of three divisions: BKV, a full-service direct response division in Atlanta; Weyforth-Haas Marketing, a full-service integrated marketing communications division in Overland Park; and Response Mine, a search engine marketing division in Atlanta.
