BKV Earns PRISM Awards for PR Work

BKV recently received Silver PRISM Awards from the Greater Kansas City chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The awards recognized the agency for two projects: the first, media relations conducted for client United Country Real Estate's annual convention, resulted in significant coverage in local market newspapers, including feature stories in the Kansas City Business Journal, Kansas City Business Magazine and the Lawrence Journal World, as well as quotes from United Country executives in a Kansas City Star article covering rural real estate.

The second project was a printed newsletter for pro bono client Sheffield Place (a shelter for homeless women and their children) that generated a 25 percent increase in donations, as well as a significant increase in the size of donations. Entries in the PRISM Awards competition are judged by selected peers in the public relations industry.
