Account Executive
Currently there are non-profit and for-profit AE openings. You will touch every part of a campaign from, developing strategy to creative to media execution. You'll serve as the liaison between the client and agency departments including creative, media, and interactive. Must be deadline oriented, able to multi-task and turn projects quickly in a fast-paced agency environment.
Required skills:
- Experience, knowledge and proficiency with Direct Marketing a must - direct mail, DRTV, interactive.
- Ability to evaluate copy and creative; communicate effectively with creative and production departments.
- General understanding of Web page development and interactive media.
- Ability to interpret and analyze key metrics and make formal written and verbal presentations about findings.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects and client expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Interactive Media Buyer
Entry level interactive media buying position with an emphasis on paid and organic search.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively assist the Media and Client Service teams to create and execute interactive media strategies and plans.
- Support Media team in making online media buys that meet client goals and objectives.
- Gather and analyze campaign data and deliver relevant reports to Client Service team.
- Monitor and analyze campaign trends, make optimization recommendations.
- Participate in meetings and negotiations with vendors and media representatives.

Sr. Interactive Media Planner

Interactive Media Manager
Creates and implements strategy while managing development, execution and monitoring of integrated media plans for selected clients.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, planning, organizing, implementing and control of the media process within the department.
- Manages Media Teams, setting quality standards and enforcing adherence to those standards.
- Financially responsible for all areas of Media including internal cost negotiation with vendors and ensuring estimating/media payments are made in a timely manner and on budget
- Should be innovative and be able to identify short term and long term opportunities for the Department and its clients.
- Keeps abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances in research and buying/planning software.
- Should aggressively pursue new ways to contribute to the overall agency and client profitability.
- Sets group goals and maximizes effectiveness of his teams.
- Development of strategic media plans to increase, sales, market share and awareness and/or ROI from leads/sales for assigned accounts.
- Works with the Media Buyers/Supervisor and A.S. on market conditions, CPL goals, special opportunities, campaign analysis, and billing.
- Monthly or weekly budget reporting/schedules and the coordination of projects and media requests with A.S.
- Manages training and development of Media Personnel
- Negotiates with media representatives
- Sells all work both internally and externally
- Leads weekly departmental staff meetings and sees that status reports are done in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Seasoned knowledge of all interactive media disciplines, including SEM.
- 6+ years media planning experience w/ a strong emphasis on digital/online media.
- 3+ years of management experience, excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and decision making abilities.
- Exceptional strategic leadership abilities.
- A significant amount of client contact experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department relationships.
- Keeps up with multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.

Sr. Interactive Designer
The Sr. Interactive Designer will work to create and build a vast array of interactive projects, with an emphasis on retail email. This position is divided between front-end design, e-mail production and HTML coding. The position will oversee 2 Jr. Designers and ensure the input from a BKV copywriter is in line with client expectations. The Sr. Designer is BKV's creative input and holder of best practices for e-mail. This position is also the daily point of contact with the client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with other designers, developers and copywriters to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the advertising needs of clients.
- Meets with Account Services to determine needs analysis, creative requirements, etc. for new projects.
- Creates layouts, comps, color studies, site maps, and is responsible for adherence to client graphic standards and brand guidelines.
- Works with other designers, developers and copywriters in the production of deliverables.
- For all projects he/she has participated in, reviews with client any return tracking data to better build future e-mail projects.
- Create and maintain a template structure for e-mail sends.
- Monthly meetings with BKV project group to assess project success and design criteria.
- Works with Client to ensure project deliverables are understood and deadlines are met.
- Strives to stay current and knowledgeable in the areas of direct response marketing, user interface design and related software/hardware by reading industry publications, books, Web sites and participating in training courses/seminars.
- Assists in the New Business process. May meet as part of a team with potential clients and prepare proposal materials.

Interactive Designer/Developer
The Interactive Designer/Developer is the bridge between Web Designers and Web Programmers. He/she will work from both perspectives to produce and/or collaborate in the production of the most effective solutions for interactive advertising requirements.
Time spent in this position is divided between front-end design and build (75%) and back-end development (15%). The remaining 10% is spent in new business development and research.
Front End Design
- Collaborates with other designers, developers and copywriters to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the advertising needs of clients.
- Meets with Account Services to determine needs analysis, creative requirements, etc. for new projects.
- Creates layouts, comps, color studies, site maps, and UML use cases and is responsible for adherence to client graphic standards and brand guidelines.
- Works with other designers, developers and copywriters in the production of deliverables.
- For all projects he/she has participated in, reviews tracking data to determine what worked, what didn't work and to derive "best practice" conclusions.
Back End/Development
- Works with Senior Programmer/DBA in the development of scripts, programming code, tagging, Web site configuration and database design/implementation as needed.
- Based on project needs and hardware configuration, designs new Web site architecture.
- Concepts new and extends existing modular packages to maximize reusability (and resale) among projects (i.e., BKVTrack, BKV Shopping Cart, CMS).
Other
- Works with Web Project Manager to ensure deadlines are met.
- Always looking for better, more cost-effective and efficient ways to accomplish DR advertising goals online.

Interactive Traffic Manager
BKV is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist within the Interactive Marketing Dept. The Traffic Manager will work primarily with the interactive media team to ensure flawless campaign implementation and reporting. The Traffic Manager will also be involved in distribution and workflow management of all interactive media requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of the setup, trouble-shooting, and ongoing daily quality assurance management of complex interactive advertising campaigns, including both Search and Display media.
- Assist the media team with planning and implementing new campaigns; including keyword-list production, ad-trafficking, and creative requirements.
- Assist the media team in workflow management: knowing each teams current capacity, distribution of new projects, timeline management.
- Campaign reporting: working with media department to design report formats, generate tracking tags, and pulling of reports.
- Campaign monitoring, including site monitoring and tracking integration quality assurance.
- Work closely with multiple internal teams including Web, IT, Account Service to ensure optimum campaign quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years minimum online ad-trafficking experience, preferably including keyword campaign management.
- Flawless attention to detail - exact precision in data input is a must.
- Proven experience of online ad-serving technologies; Dart, Atlas, Open Adstream, etc.
- Good understanding of HTML and JavaScript. Knowledge of CSS, ASP, SQL and DHTML an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and able to interact comfortably with clients externally and varied internal departments.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Strong analytical skills; experience managing and manipulating large volumes of data a plus.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (if necessary) to accomplish business objectives.
