New SVP, Executive Creative Director at BKV Advertising Agency
Scott Johnson has joined Atlanta advertising agency BKV as Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Director. Having led creative and digital practices for clients for 20 years at agencies including Draft FCB and Tribal DDB, Johnson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to BKV’s creative team. He has worked with major brands such as JW Marriott, Taco Bell, Southwest Airlines, Pepsi and Dorito’s. Johnson’s work has been recognized by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the One Show, The London International Festival and Communication Arts. He has also published articles in Adweek, Advertising Age, Mediaweek and the UK’s Campaign Magazine.

In addition to leading a team of more than 20 creatives, Johnson will be serving on BKV’s senior leadership team and playing a significant role in the agency’s marketing and new business efforts.

According to Johnson, “To be a successful creative leader, you've got to be able to think like a psychologist, an anthropologist, an economist or a CEO—depending on the situation. And you've got to be able to do it while maintaining a genuine playfulness of the mind."
